　　2000年，保罗沃克成功地饰演《头骨俱乐部》中的那位富家子弟Caleb Mandrake，他的精采演出获得了导演频频赞许，同时获得电影公司的注意，邀请他与文·迪塞尔一同担纲演出让他红透半边天的《玩命关头》（The Fast and the Furious）。影片中他饰演一个卧底警探，他在电影中玩车的酷样，几乎已经成为时下年轻人最欣羡的帅哥偶像，上映首周夺下北美票房冠军。在大导演约翰戴尔在惊悚片《致命玩笑》（Joy Ride）中担任第一男主角。而后更接演《玩命关头》续集《飙风再起》，独挑大梁再次饰演卧底警察布莱恩，首映成绩再次飘红。



　　2004年参加影片《圣诞夜奇迹 》拍摄，2005年参加影片《碧海追踪》。保罗以其阳光男孩的朝气与魅力获美国《People》杂志评选为2001年全球50位最美丽的人之一。成名后的他并不会被名利冲昏头，健康的生活让他保持健美体魄也自然而然地流露出阳光男孩的魅力。
